ouch...
i_am_quite_simply_fucked_up: FACT! I have more bruises and sore limbs than i ever think that i've had before. WHY? Cos of a bridge, some high banking and between 25 / 45 ft to water I did some reference video for a friend of mine yesterday, this involved finding something stupidly high over water and then running, falling or spinning your way into it. 15 minute duck war!
Am i the life and soul of a party?? Probably not, but if i get invited to one then i'll make it as much fun as possible. So Wade had a BBQ yesterday, invited the entire Prince of Persia team and some of us, the usual crew. We turned up, drank beer and arsed about First thing i did was hand out inflatable animals / chairs / armbands to people as there was a pool. Next thing i did was open a beer and take a swig I opened my bag of fun and emptied 30 odd rubber ducks into the pool Then i back flipped into the pool fully dressed Have some food kick about, talk shop... the usual Get a few more people in the pool (after some rather nasty volley ball action) Then throw ducks at people that aren't in the pool It ended up being a mad duck war, there were ducks flying fucking everywhere, skimming off of the water and hitting people really hard. We weren't mucking about the ducks were getting thrown at top speed at people and you could hear the 'thunk' as they hit I remained unscaved, but there were a couple that whipped past my ear like a bullet as they skimmed off of the water. Usual 'Canada Day' fun i suppose. Eaten alive by mosquitos. Hopefully i'll get the pictures and can post them over the next week! i've been a bit slack! But i have been busy finding things to do... other than work! Seems that i'm going to move company very soon, just down the road from me. Been a while
i've seen mad busy getting stuff done at work, so i've just been snowed Get home and sleep kind of stuff! Anyways, here's an update of the last week Sounds like the Download fest was a blast! Went to the first night of the fireworks comp, the biggest shit blowing up to music you ever saw. It goes on for an hour. You want to get there for the last 20 mins cos thats when they blow the massive stuff up!! Almost went to the "Hard Liquor and Porn Festival" last night, i kid you not, but due to some massive hangover therapy that i was going through we just kicked back and did nothing instead. Nothing...
much to report it's all quiet at this end. Moved in and just getting settled. The cat's are getting used to me being around and i think other people are aswell.
It's taking slightly longer to get to meet Stoofer in the morning but that's ok, s'long as it's not chucking it down then i'm all good. It'll be good enough to skate pretty soon

paint and ink
Not only have i figured out today how to make a different slightly more interesting font to be used, but i've also been able to make this font readable (normally its a pile of shite!)
But....
Wait for it!
I've actually produced a piece of art (if you can call it that?) thats on canvas and actually uses paint, brushes and ink. Instead of my ususal art that is photoshop generated. Mind you i did use photoshop to create the image and then i just transfered it over to the canvas and then painted it!
Shame i don't have a camera as i'd post a picture of it. I'm also through a second piece that might be quite good if it comes out ok, or it could be a piece of shite
Let me know about the font people as if its crappy i'll use something else.
